You have a rogue hijacker, the program claims to find virus’s etc… But in reality it hasnt found anything, it onyl wants you to buy there program so that you can have them remove what it claims it finds.

George asks…

Please help with virus removal!?

I ran trendmicros Housecall and it said I have the virus MS08-067 but I can’t figure out how to get rid of it. The microsoft site was just confusing.

After that I tried Norton and it did a virus scan and said I had a virus called “Downloader” but again, I dont know how to get rid of it. Nortons “removal” section for the virus was blank.

Any help? Is there a good, free, virus detection and removal?
