Linda asks…

How do i start my PC with a virus and then get rid of it?

I have a virus on my computer it looks likes it completely infected is there a certain way to start my computer to delete the virus?

softwareguru answers:

Try starting to computer in safe made ( without network). You can do this by pressing f8 as the computer is starting. Then I would recommend getting malwarebytes and doing a scan. If that doesn’t get rid of the infection at least you will get a report back with information that can help identify what type of infection it might be.

You can have a look around this site for more general virus removal help.

Robert asks…

What part of influenza virus is recognized by an organisms immune system?

Also, what mutations in viral structures would make a virus better able to escape the immune system?
I’m thinking the glycoproteins on the surface of the virus. It’s not epitope.

> Capsid (Protein coat)

> Viruses can’t be destroyed by the immune system, they are immortals. So they won’t need any mutations to survive. In fact, any harmful mutation might affect their survival capacity.
