Trojan – wimad removal for Windows 7. Need help?

Nortons, who first found the trojan years ago, will not remove the trojan. I have tried many spyware, malware programs and nothing seems to work. The file was on an external drive as a WMA file. I have removed it, however Nortons continues to find the trojan at start up and during a session. Can anyone who has had the trojan on Windows 7 help, please.
Nortons asked to turn off system restore, run in safe mode, run updates and scan. Did not pick it up nor remove. I now cannot run system restore back to pre-trojan time.

ESET is tested by organizations such as AV-Comparatives, AV-Test and Virus Bulletin. ESET is the first company to receive 54 VB100 awards from Virus Bulletin and has not missed a single threat in Virus Bulletin’s tests in the past six years.[10] ESET’s products are regularly certified by ICSA Labs and West Coast Labs.

DID YOU SEE THE PART THAT SAID ESET HAS NOT MISSED A SINGLE VIRUS IN A TEST IN 6+ YEARS? I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR OVER A YEAR AND IT’S 110% FULL PROOF.
WIKIPEDIA ESET AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.

Need help removing Windows 7 Virus Scan 2012?

Minutes ago I got a pop up software that appeared to be completing a scan on my laptop. The pop up message is exactly the same as in the spyware website attached. I ended all of the applications through task manager, but when I attempt to open Internet Explorer, the virus pop up appears.

Has anyone tried this removal process: http://www.spywarehelpcenter.com/how-to-remove-windows7-security-2012-virus-%E2%80%93-virus-removal/

softwareguru answers:

Every time you try to launch an executable, you will instead launch the virus. That is one of the changes the virus has made. I have never seen that removal guide, you can try it, it couldn’t hurt, but if that program does not undo the changes that rogue had made to certain files, and associations, then after the trojan is removed, your computer will not function properly. If that is the case, then refer to this guide, download, and run the tools in it like fixncr.reg, rkill, and tdsskiller.
