Your Questions About Realplayer Sp

Chris asks…

How do you download videos with RealPlayer SP Basic?

I had RealPlayer Basic for a while and used to be able to download videos from the web. It recently stopped working so I downloaded the latest version (RealPlayer SP) however that didn’t fix it.

The “download this video” button does not appear in the corner and when I right click on the video and select the option to download the video to RealPlayer the RealPlayer donwloader comes up and underneath the name of the video it says “The clip is not downloadable from this site”.

Any help would be appreciated.

I use Real Player SP and it works fine for me. I also use the codec pack that the other answerer provided as they are very useful. I would firstly suggest you uninstall and reinstall SP and if this doesn’t work I would suggest there may be a conflict. The best way though is download Firefox browser [if you don’t already use it] and then get an add-on called Netvideohunter which works with Firefox. Netvideohunter will allow you to download any video that you view in your browser. These files are usually FLV files which can be viewed in Realplayer SP and many other free FLV players available on http://download.cnet.com/windows/.

Donald asks…

will realplayer sp convert HD video?

it converts standard definition but will it convert HD video into windows media?

softwareguru answers:

As far as I know, the answer is NO!

Realplayer is a tool to play a number of multimedia formats including MP3, MPEG-4, QuickTime, Windows Media, and multiple versions of proprietary RealAudio and RealVideo formats.

If you want to convert HD video, you’d better choose a video converter. This is the one I’m using:

This is a professional and easy to use software. It supports many different video formats.

Or you can get more information on google. Hope it helps.
