Your Questions About Anti Spyware Software Free

Sharon asks…

Is it safe to install Spybot when I have AVG antivirus installed?

I heard installing multiple anti-virus softwares can make them conflict with each other. Is Spybot (“search and destroy”) also an anti-virus- or just an antispyware program? I allready have AVG Free Edition installed on my Windows XP Pro SP3 laptop, could I safely install Spybot too? Thanks!

Thank you PlainVanilla, I was a little confused!

I have both spybot and AVG antivirus 2012 on my computer with Windows XP Home Edition SP3. Works fine. Obviously spybot is not an antivirus because it doesnt log itself as antivirus software in the registry.

Helen asks…

How do I remove spyware and Adware for free?

Every time I turn on my computer, all these advertisements for antispyware software pops up. I exit them but they always keep coming back. I also get an anti spyware icon on my taskbar that I can’t get rid of. How do I get rid of these annoying popups and remove these icons?

I’ve been using them all for over a year now.

They are all compatible with each other and Windows XP and Vista as well as older versions of Windows.

You will have a trouble free, clean, green, mean machine.
